One common mistake people make is putting savings at the bottom of their list of priorities. If there is any money left over at the end of the month it goes into savings. With this type of mindset, you’ll save very little because there will always be other things taking precedence.
To grow your savings you must make it a priority. It has to come first–or at least fairly high on your list. If eating out or buying pizza are crowding out your saving plans, it is a good sign that your priorities need readjusted. It is better for the pizza to be crowded out, by your plans for saving money than the other way around.
